Diffudoc hermetic coffins are made from galvanized steel sheet, standardized by the Ministry of Health. Inserted inside the wooden coffin, they provide total sealing against liquids as well as odors and pathogenic organisms thanks to the Funisorb air purifying filter. The sealing is carried out using cold welding which is easily used by the operator.
Used mainly for the repatriation of the deceased or for the temporary storage of bodies, airtight coffins are also used for infectious diseases; during exceptional situations resulting in numerous deaths (attacks, natural disasters, etc.); during health crises (Covid, heatwave, etc.).
